We are recruiting attorneys with a minimum of five (5) years experience related to a specific area of law including but not limited to: Immigration, Real Estate, Landlord/Tenant, Labor & Employment, Estate Planning, Family Law, General Litigation, etc. We are also recruiting law students to assist administratively and linguistically. To participate, you must be a KALAGNY member in good standing. Bilingual Korean & English is preferred but not mandatory.

Bicycle with KALAGNY Members, Friends and Family…
KALAGNY is going biking in New York City’s Central Park on Saturday, November 2, 2013 starting at10 a.m. Come out and bike with us, then join us for lunch. Every participant must provide their own bicycle. Helmets will be required for participants who are 14 and under but everyone is strongly encouraged to wear one. The Coalition for Asian American Children and Families (CACF) and the Fund for Public Advocacy invite you to attend a presentation and reception for our Asian Pacific New Yorkers Count project on Thursday, October 10th from 5:00pm – 7:30pm, generously hosted by Sunshine Sachs at 136 Madison Avenue, 17th Floor.
The Asian Pacific New Yorkers Count project is a partnership effort to create awareness and action to support the fastest growing community in New York City, Asian Pacific Americans. At our October 10th event, we will present our report and recommendations for action from our comprehensive analysis of demographic data, a Community-Based Organization survey, data on New York City services, and information on funding for the Asian Pacific American community of over 1.1 million individuals.
We hope you will join us and other community leaders to share your ideas and support for the needs of the changing face of New York City on October 10th.

We are now taking applications from senior associates for the 2013 Prospective Partners Program (PPP). We are also looking for In-House Counsel to participate in the program.
Senior associates interested in applying for the program must submit an application by October 21, 2013. Please click here for the application requirements and instructions.
Any In-House Counsel interested in participating in the program should click here for more information.
The objective of the PPP is to identify, either through nomination or application, 6-8 senior associates or of counsel at major law firms who are “on-deck,” i.e. within 12-18 months of consideration for partnership, and to introduce them to and allow them to individually pitch a similar (or greater) number of senior In-House Counsel (GCs or others with outside counsel hiring authority). The participants would not necessarily be pitching for specific work or projects but for the opportunity to get to know and show potential clients what they can do. There will also be a mentorship aspect where senior associates will be paired with partner mentors.
