Dear MBBA Members, Supporters, Friends and Colleagues:

The Nominating Committee of the Metropolitan Black Bar Association (“MBBA”) is currently seeking candidates for the following positions for the 2015-2016 term:

  • VP of Programs
  • Recording Secretary
  • Board of Directors

Please note that officers are required to serve a term of one year and board of directors to serve a term of three years. If you are interested in being considered for any of these offices, please complete that attached application identifying the specific position(s) sought and provide a copy of your resume or CV and any other supporting materials to [email protected] by Tuesday, July 21, 2015. After your submission is reviewed, you will be informed if you have been selected to interview with the Nominating Committee.

Each candidate must be a member in good standing to serve as an officer or board member of the Association. If you are not a current member, please complete the attached MBBA Membership application and submit payment via mail or submit payment online at www.mbbanyc.org. You must be an active member to be a viable candidate for consideration.
