On February 12, members of the YLC banded
together for a day of service, at the Xavier Mission on West 15th Street, working two shifts to serve meals to over 1200
people. Among those who came to volunteer were YLC co-chairs Jay Min and Gabe,
Michelle, Nick, Jayasri, Marianne, Julie, Jason, and many others. Our young
lawyers demonstrated immense tenacity, braving not only the grueling weather,
but also the strain of having to work two shifts (totalling 3 hours) without
breaks. Thank you to YLC co-chairs Jay Min and Gabe Arce-Yee for coordinating
this event and to all of our volunteers for giving up their Sunday afternoon!
