On Wednesday, April 18, at the New York office of White & Case, the Immigration Law Committee, co-chaired by Susan Akina, Amanda Bernardo and Poonam Gupta, held their first Committee Meeting of the fiscal year to discuss ideas for FY 2018 which launched on April 1. Although the meeting was scheduled for one hour, the many ideas and discussions raised for upcoming projects kept the group engaged for nearly two hours.

The Immigration Law Committee was recognized as AABANY’s Committee of the Year for 2017, and we thank Susan, Amanda, and Poonam for returning as co-chairs, to helm another year of exciting and impactful programming for our members and our community.
