To conclude its current season, the excellent string ensemble Concertante will perform a free concert on Monday evening, May 7th at 7:30 p.m. at Merkin Concert Hall, 129 West 67th  Street. The program will include the New York premiere of Shulamit Ran’s For Dear Life written for Linda Grass Chemtob, founder and longtime Executive Director of Concertante who died in 2011 after a long battle with non-smoker’s lung cancer.  A video created by Jon Sayegh featuring musicians whose lives have been touched by Linda will be screened before the performance of Ran’s work.
