Three AABANY committees, Solo and Small Firm Practice, Immigration and Nationality Law and Real Estate, co-sponsored by Wells Fargo, launched Part I of their marketing series, “Market and Sustain Your Practice in 2012” on May 23rd specifically on nurturing referral sources, enhancing presence through seminars, and branding the attorney’s name. With a planned budget in mind, simple techniques by use of business cards, newsletters, and email marketing were discussed and cross referenced with the ethical rules in proper advertising. It was a successful event and the committees look forward to the next session, Part II “5 Ways to Use Search Engines for Marketing,” taking place on June 6.
