On Friday, April 17, 2015, Brooklyn Law School’s APALSA hosted its 26th annual Alumni Dinner at the Forchelli Center on their campus.  Brooklyn Law School’s APALSA honored Class of 2000 classmates Vinoo Varghese and Daniel Kim. Kim, an Associate General Counsel at UBS Financial Services, was presented the achievement of the year award and Varghese, Principal at Varghese & Associates, P.C., was presented the lifetime achievement award.  AABANY director Sonia Low, Membership Secretary Irene Tan, and AABANY President William Wang (all BLS alums) were in attendance to support the event.  Francis Chin performed the traditional ceremony of passing down an APALSA trinket to the newly installed president of BLS APALSA, Katherine Zhang, J.D. Candidate 2017.  Varghese, a former director of AABANY, reminisced about his time at Brooklyn Law School with his good friend Dan Kim and nicknamed the two “the original Harold and Kumar.”
