Immigrant Civic Leadership Program

In partnership with the New York Immigration Coalition (NYIC), Coro will provide ICLP participants with a deeper understanding of policy and decision making in the city, the skills to lead change in their organizations and communities, and a network of engaged and influential alumni to support them in reaching their goals.  All participants develop a Community Change Project that will strengthen their immigrant community so that the program impact goes beyond the training room.

Immigrant Civic Leadership Program meets July 2018 through January 2019 with a Showcase Session in April 2019 and requires a significant time commitment of attendance including:

● Program Orientation

● 3-day overnight Opening Retreat

● 4 Saturday Leadership Retreat days

● Bimonthly Networking Evening Events (plus 2 optional “Coronect” evenings)

● 4 Tuesday Strategy Day Sessions

● Closing Session & Graduation

● Follow-Up Session
