On Thursday, July 12, Chair of the AABANY Mentorship Program Shruti Chopra was selected as one of two Young Lawyer Fellows by the American Bar Association Section of Intellectual Property Law (ABA-IPL). The ABA-IPL selects two new fellows every year for three-year terms, and established this program to recognize and develop future leaders in the IPL Section.
As a Young Lawyer Fellow, Shruti will be participating in section meetings, engage in committee activities or programs like the Section’s Young Lawyers Action Group (YLAG), and work with Liaisons to help recruit members to join ABA’s various sections and committees during the next three years. She will also play an active role in promoting diversity and inclusion within the legal profession, and will commit to mentoring future fellows or members.
Please join us in congratulating Shruti Chopra on this well-deserved honor and wishing her success as a new ABA Young Lawyer Fellow.
