Hon. Denny Chin, United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, was honored with the Unity through Diversity Award at the 2013 Spring Banquet held at the law school on April 26 and organized by several New York Law School student groups: APALSA, LALSA, SALSA, MLSA, and Outlaws. APALSA President Donna Yee presented the award to Judge Chin. Also honored were Maria Fernandez, Senior Counsel at IBM, and Tarik Davis, Esq., real estate litigator in Brooklyn, NY. The evening featured a buffet with delicious ethnic cuisine, performances and plenty of opportunities to socialize and network. Past AABANY President Vince Chang, Real Estate Committee Chair Margaret Ling, past Student Outreach Committee Co-Chair Ben Chan, AABANY Director Francis Chin and Executive Director Yang Chen were among those in attendance.
