On April 30, 2013, the Government Service & Public Interest (GSPI) and the Pro Bono & Community Service (PBCS) Committees hosted a successful happy hour event at Triona’s on Third in Gramercy. It was a fun evening with over 30 lawyers from numerous government agencies, public interest law firms, and nonprofit organizations in attendance. AABANY members and guests met old friends and began building lasting connections with others. This event, co-sponsored by AABANY’s Membership Committee, also inaugurated “Get to Know AABANY in 2013,” an exciting series of happy hour events being hosted by different AABANY committees throughout the year.

The GSPI and PBCS Committees are currently planning joint CLE events as well as individual committee events for this upcoming year.
