On Wednesday, May 27, 2015, the AABANY Intellectual Property Committee and Kilpatrick, Townsend & Stockton, LLP co-sponsored a CLE Trademark Skills Workshop entitled: “Ack! What Do I Do Now? My Trademark Application Has Just Been Rejected!” Moderated by Jenny Greisman, the panelists were Kilpatrick Townsend Attorney Tina Mepani and NBCUniversal Counsel Divya Jayachandran. They explored a variety of strategies and hands-on skills for responding to common reasons for an U.S. Trademark Examiner to refuse registration of a trademark application. Approximately 20 attendees participated in this interactive workshop, which offered 1 CLE credit.
