Despite the cold and wet weather, members of the Government Service and Public Interest (GSPI) Committee and Pro Bono and Community Service Committee came out on December 6 for the December joint meeting, possibly because it was being held at Red Egg and because they wanted to bid a fond farewell to Co-Chair June Lee, who will be relocating.

Filling two tables in a private space at Red Egg, the food certainly did not disappoint. Members from the two committees got to catch up with each other and share some holiday cheer.

Sadly, June was under the weather and could not attend. We had to postpone our fond farewell for all the great work she has done as Pro Bono Committee Co-Chair, including helping to set up and coordinate the monthly pro bono clinics. (We managed to give her a parting gift when she made it to the AABANY Holiday Party at the end of the week.)

Thanks to all for attending. If you are interested in learning more about the GSPI Committee and the Pro Bono Committee, visit their webpages and feel free to contact any of the co-chairs for more information.
