On May 11, Filipino American Lawyers Association of New York (FALA-New York) presented a CLE program on Caregiver Rights at Phillips Lytle, co-sponsored by AABANY. Michael Yim, Partner in Sedgwick’s New York office, served as moderator. Dana Sussman, Deputy Commissioner for Intergovernmental Affairs and Policy at the NYC Commission on Human Rights, spoke on the protections afforded to caregivers under the New York City Human Rights Law. Olivia Quinto, Associate at Outten & Golden, covered the legal protections available under state and Federal law.

It was an informative and engaging CLE program. Attendees received 1.0 credit towards the Areas of Professional Practice requirement.

Thanks to FALA-New York for organizing the program and to Phillips Lytle for hosting. We look forward to more co-sponsorships in the future.
