On Thursday, July 19, approximately thirty attorneys and law students participated in the Skills Series Workshop, “In Your Own Style – Building Relational Selling Skills,” co-sponsored by AABANY Women’s Committee and the law firm of King & Spalding LLP. The event began with a brief networking session, followed by a seminar featuring Guest Speaker Audrey Lee of Hyun & Associates, who engaged participants in a lively and interactive discussion that explored the impact of cultural values on networking and building relationships, as well as ingredients for developing successful relational selling skills. The event received rave reviews from all participants for its coverage of unique and insightful content, and expert delivery by Audrey Lee.
The workshop was an effort initiated and led by AABANY Women’s Committee Co-Chair Vinny Lee, along with AABANY Women’s Committee Co-Chair Liza Sohn and King & Spalding’s Asian Affinity Group Co-Chair and AABANY Member, Jenny Lee. Special thanks to King & Spalding for its enthusiastic support and hosting of this event.
This workshop is the first of a two-part skills and professional development series of workshops by the AABANY Women’s Committee. Part two of the AABANY Women’s Committee Skills Series Workshop is scheduled for September 2012 – stay tuned! (Photo: Audrey Lee)
