On September 24, 2013, the Prosecutors’ Committee co-sponsored a panel discussion and reception with the Diversity Committee of the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office. The event, entitled “Pursuing a Career as an Assistant District Attorney,” was held at the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office. District Attorney Cyrus R. Vance delivered the opening remarks followed by a discussion and Q & A session with the panel consisting of six Assistant District Attorneys from the greater NYC area – Kin Ng (Brooklyn), Nitin Savur (Manhattan), Cristina Park (Bronx), Jin Lee (Richmond), Maria Fedor (Queens) and Brian Lee (Nassau). The panel spoke about their experiences as Asian American prosecutors and offered advice on pursuing a career as a prosecutor. The event was attended by many law students, practicing attorneys, and current prosecutors. Wine and various appetizers were served at the reception afterwards.
