On Tuesday, March 10, AABANY President-Elect Clara Ohr and Executive Director Yang Chen were interviewed by Paul Lin, a reporter and producer on CUNY Television’s Emmy-nominated program “Asian American Life.” Paul is working on a segment based on Helen Wan’s book The Partner Track and sought AABANY’s views on the issues raised by the book, such as APAs in the legal profession encountering the “bamboo ceiling.”

In addition to the interview, the film crew shot some b-roll, at our 45 Rockefeller Plaza location. Because it was a beautiful day, we took advantage of the good weather and invited AABANY members Ona Wang, Partner, and Brian Sung, Associate, at Baker Hostetler, which was also located at 45 Rockefeller Plaza, to join us for the shoot outdoors.

We understand that the story will run in May, during APA Heritage Month. We will be sure to keep you all posted as to dates and times when the show will be broadcast.
